Winter Art Camp With Miss Margie
This Camp will meet Monday through Friday at 10 am Pacific Standard Time. There will be one session of 5 lessons per week. They'll follow along with me while they learn to draw a variety of wintery things. Projects vary in length.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the discipline of developing a drawing to the best of their ability. They will learn to follow along one step at a time. They will learn that it is the job of an artist to draw "what they see", not "what they 'think' is there. They will learn to follow directions, because following directions in art leads to success. Everyone was born wanting to draw. Every child grabs for a crayon, right? It is my job to encourage them that they can make beautiful art year after year, if they just keep drawing. This special camps session is geared toward having fun during Winter Break.
All of us have a gift to share with others, and this is what I want to share. I started drawing when I was very young and haven't stopped. I love drawing more than anything. I'm also naturally good at teaching. I've been an art teacher for over 20 years, and I've also taught Drama, Photography, Speech and Dance. I've always been really good at explaining things. Plus, I enjoy the students. If you know your son or daughter likes art, I will help them create beautiful projects worthy of framing!

Drawing paper. Watercolor Paper. Pencil. Non-colored Eraser. Kneaded eraser. Colored Pencils. Watercolors. Small paintbrushes. Paper towels. Ultra Fine Sharpie. The Drawing paper and the watercolor paper can be 8 1/2 x 11" or anything near that size. All materials can be found on Amazon or at Target. Please message me if you are having trouble locating them and I will provide the item name and store location to best fit your budget.
I will make sure the learner is following directions and not distracting other students. If they follow along, they will be successful at making great art!
