Winter Animal Nonfiction Reading: Stuffed Animal Nonfiction PJ Party!
In this ongoing course, students will listen to animal-themed nonfiction related to the winter. They are encouraged to wear their PJs and come with a stuffed animal and blanket for a fun social storytime.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn animal facts and explore nonfiction literacy themed to winter animals in a social setting
I was a Preschool-3rd teacher and am currently an Education professor at East Coast county college. I hold an M.Ed. as well as an Ed.D. and have a passion for integrating nonfiction into early childhood and elementary school lessons.
No homework.
Come in your PJs with a Stuffed Animal Friend!
At the end of each story, the teacher will provide a word scramble or interactive activity based on the day's animal for student to express their knowledge of vocabulary and animal information.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
