Class experience
This is a step by step Dragon Sculpting Course, with 5 different dragon characters from the Wings of Fire book series. There are 3 different courses, with different dragon characters. In this Self Paced course, you will work at your own pace while sculpting your Dragons. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. Suggested Supplies: Polymer Bake Clay in a variety of colors. These Dragons are mostly Light Blue, White, Dark Green, Light Green, White, Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Magenta or Dark Pink. Basic sculpting tools, rolling pin, a sharp cutting tool Some wooden toothpicks or jewelry/sculpting wire Aluminum foil Optional: Glass beads/eyes (I use mainly 4mm and 6mm) Optional: Acrylic paint pens work great for details (after baking) If you know the characters, it's best to use the colors that you interpret the descriptions from the books. Not all the dragons are shown in the graphic novels yet. Many of these colors are used for multiple dragons.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
**Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F/135 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary.
