Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their listening skills, character analysis skills, and have the opportunity to review many literacy skills through higher order thinking questions asked through the classes.
Your child will be assigned several chapters (3-5) to read between classes. This may take 1-2 hours depending on your child's reading ability.
Your child will need the book: Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy (Book 1)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Violence, death, sadness
These books cover violent parts, includes death, and some parts are sad. I have been an elementary teacher for many years, and when these topics arise, we maturely discuss them, and continue on reading. If your child is sensitive to violence or death, this may not be a great book series for them.
