At the end of each class, each group will present their story and solution to the rest of us.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
In the beginning of class we will chat about Wings of Fire and go over a new problem I create in the world of Wings of Fire and the students will then break out into small groups to write a story and come up with ideas on how to solve that problem or write fan fictions of their own. We will be taking the knowledge we have of the land of Pyrrhia and Pantala to make our stories and solutions. We will avoid Animus magic as it destroys the soul of the user. This will ensure lots of creative problem solving. I will be jumping in and out of the groups every so often to see what they have come up with and present them with new challenges or obstacles their characters must overcome. We will conclude class with each group being given 5 minutes to present their story and solutions.
Learning Goals
There will not be formal instruction on grammar or paragraph development. The idea is to let their creativity flow and allow them to freely express those ideas without having to worry about conventions.Other Details
