Class Experience
Students will be assigned a section of the book to read each week. As a group, we will discuss the events of the assigned reading in a respectful manner giving all the students the chance to respond if they so wish to during class. The students will enjoy learning literacy skills in a fun and engaging way. We will listen to audible, read and answer higher order thinking questions. Your child will be assigned several chapters (2-3+) to read between classes. This may take 1-2 hours depending on your child's reading ability.
Your child will need a copy of book #6 in the Wings of Fire series. Wings of Fire: Moon Rising
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
