In this 5x meeting camp or class we will cover 1 book per day with discussions and quizzes and will role play and create fan fictions that will be presented on the final day of class or camp

In order to truly enjoy this class the learners will need to have read books 11-14 of the Wings of Fire series. Otherwise, there will be lots of spoilers and the student will not be able to do well on the daily challenges for each book. I have a camp for each arc in the series. In this camp we will do a comprehension quiz for each book on days 1-4 and then day 5 will be a quiz on a mix of questions about books 11-14 and then we will present each group's fan fiction. Day 1: Intros and Greetings. Comprehension Quiz on The Lost Continent, breakout rooms to begin work on the Fan Fiction Day 2: Greetings, Comprehension Quiz on The Hive Queen, breakout rooms to work on fan fiction Day 3: Greetings, Comprehension Quiz on The Poison Jungle, breakout rooms to work on fan fiction Day 4: Greetings, Comprehension Quiz on The Dangerous Gift, breakout rooms to work on fan fiction Day 5: Greetings, Comprehension quiz on Arc 3, quick breakout room time to finalize anything, presentation time for each group

A secondary device to play the Kahoot on. It might also be helpful to have a second screen or device to allow the student to write on their document and still be able to video chat with the teacher and the friends in their group.
