Class Experience

In this one- time class , the students will read the book The Windy Day by Anna Milbourne ( used with permission).The students will learn 
 that we need wind to fly a kite.The students will be encouraged to tell the class other things that needs wind.The students will also learn about windy weather.The students will be painting their own kite.The students will draw a picture of them holding their kite.I will be doing it with the students.At the end of the class the students can show their...

White paper

Kite Pdf 
crayons/markers/paint/paint sticks
glue stick
black marker
(optional) colored card stock, patterned paper,  or watercolor resist painted paper

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please supervise your students when they are doing their art by making sure you are not on the camera.
