Do you want to win more arguments? This introductory course offers an opportunity to debate and discuss low stakes topics in an effort to practice academic discussion skills. Students will engage in mini-debates that walk them through the Lincoln-Douglas format. Each piece of the lesson is student driven with minimal but intentional teacher guidance focused on offering as much talk time to students as possible. This is an introductory course meant to build confidence. Please complete Win More Arguments - Learn to Debate (Part I) before this course but no other prior knowledge is required. Check back with me for courses designed to extend debate knowledge and apply ethos, pathos, logos to an argument!
