This is part two of the series on Wildlife Tracking. These classes can be taken in any order. Take your animal tracking a step further by learning how to record what you find! We will discuss nature journaling and making castings of tracks! Nature journaling is an important tool to study nature. We will discuss different techniques, and the students will get samples of journal pages they can use. Students will practice journaling in the pages uploaded to the classroom. Then we will move...
Printed journal pages from instructor, uploaded into the classroom The following items are optional if the student would like to participate alongside the instructor: -plaster ($7.99 on Amazon) -container of sand, mud, or clay at least 3 inches deep, with at least one inch of room available on all sides once the object being cast is placed in the container (sandwich size Tupperware with a depth of 3 inches works for most objects) -water -object to cast (coin, small figure, animal track) Measuring cup, spoons, and bowl Enrolled students will receive a detailed list with options
