Description
Class Experience
In this ongoing class for young explorers, we learn about the animals, plants, and fungi of North America. Each week we focus on a new organism such as elk, jackrabbit, monarch butterfly, redwood tree, etc. through discussion, images, video, and art. In the first half of the meeting we learn about the week’s species. In the second half we draw a picture of the organism together while discussing what we have learned.
