Wildfires: Pros and Cons

Wildfire is a global reality, and with the onset of climate change, the number of yearly wildfires is increasing. In recent years, a question has arisen about forest fires; should humans use excessive fire prevention to fight forest fires or should the forest be allowed to burn, unhindered? Let's learn together on what causes wildfire, how can it be prevented and find the answers to the question in title.

In 45 minutes of class we will be learning the following topics:

Describe a wildfire - Understand what is a wildfire and how does it start? What are the common ways & causes of wildfire?
Timeline - Learn about the history of wild fires. When it started and how it ten fold.
Elements of fire - Understanding fire triangle is the simple way to learn the elements of fire. Also learn fire tetrahedron (the recent addition).
What are the factors that makes wildfire burn more?
What are the effects of wildfires?
How to fight wildfires? Understand different tools, machines used for the purpose.
Understand the different ways to protect homes and communities from wildfires. 

The class length will depend on no of students.
