The skills learned in this class will greatly improve the chances of surviving if lost in the wilderness. Its a great and fun class where I talk about my experience and training, and I utilize pictures and videos to grab the students attention. This class is very engaging where I highly encourage class participation. This class is great for shy students as well as learning survival I believe greatly boosts confidence. **Unless there is an emergency I do not mind teaching a class with only 1 student in it. So there is no need to worry about me canceling for that reason.
Learning Goals
What your student(s) will learn in this class will significantly improve their chances of staying alive, if they are lost in the wilderness.

Parental Guidance
In this class we will talk about fire making techniques but I always emphasize that students should always and only practice with their parents. We also talk about hunting and trapping animals and field dressing, but I don't show any graphic or bloody pictures at all. We also talk about knives, knife sharpening and knife safety. No need to bring a knife to class though.
