I've been hiking the wilderness since I was a kid. I took tremendous interest in exploring the wilderness throughout college. I participated in two lengthy research expeditions during my undergraduate years - one in Patagonia, Chile where we tent-camped for three weeks, and one in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa on a game reserve for three weeks. These first-hand experiences complemented my undergraduate degree in Natural Resources Management. Since then, I have spent much of my free time exploring the east and west coast of the U.S. hiking and camping the majestic mountains. I absolutely love exploring the wilderness and believe there's so much to be learned from nature.
