In this class we will discuss the wolves of Yellowstone National Park. We will cover the long history of wolves in the park, their elimination from the park, what it took to bring them back, and their impact on the biodiversity of the park. We will consider how stories impact our ideas of wolves, and we will myth-bust. Students will learn about the impact of complete biodiversity within the park. Class 1: Facts about wolves, Yellowstone, and wolves in Yellowstone Class 2: Territory, packs, and biodiversity Class 3: Predators, stories, and fear surrounding wolves Class 4: Conservation, curiosity, and impact Expectations: I expect students to show up willing to engage with the material.
