Description

Class Experience

Students will learn a foundation to understand weather. Students will learn about the different types of clouds and the weather associated with them. Students will learn about the tools to record weather. Students will learn examples of extreme weather! 

My class is structured, but I also give students an opportunity to talk and ask questions. I will start with an introduction video on weather. Next, I will deliver direct instruction and teach vocabulary terms. At the end of the assignment,...

1. Students will learn 5 different types of clouds.
2. Students will learn 5 tools to measure weather.
3. Students will learn about high and low air pressure
4. Students will talk and ask questions about weather.
5. Students will learn about 5 types of extreme weather!

I am an elementary science teacher with 10 years of experience.

Please bring a notebook, pencil, and positive attitude.

Learners will be informally assessed through conversation. Formal assessment will take place at the end of the lesson using weather questions and pictures.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
