Join the Wild Robot Readers Club, where readers dive into the captivating world of Roz and her animal friends, exploring themes of friendship, survival, and environmentalism. Engage in lively discussions, discover new perspectives, and connect with fellow readers as we journey through Peter Brown's heartwarming and thought-provoking series together. This ongoing course will provide an opportunity for students to discuss The Wild Robot series. Each session will include discussion questions, and may include any of the following: trivia, crafts, snack ideas, extension activities, and various other interactive activities. Students should have their own copy of the current book (purchased or borrowed), and have completed the reading before class. Otherwise they will have a difficult time with the discussion section of the class. The schedule is as follows: Week of Feb. 26-Mar. 3: The Wild Robot Week of Mar. 4-10: The Wild Robot Escapes Week of Mar. 11-17: The Wild Robot Protects *After this, we will rotate back to the first book, so if you joined us later on, you can loop back and catch the ones you missed!
Learning Goals
Students will enhance critical thinking skills, practice discussion and communication skills, build empathy through exploring diverse perspectives, develop analytical skills, improve comprehension, and expand their knowledge on various topics.

Supply List
Students will be required to purchase or borrow the book of the week. They will also need to bring basic school supplies (pencil, paper, crayons, scissors, glue) to each meeting. If there are any printouts, I will provide them at least 3 days in advance.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
