Description
Class Experience
Students will learn watercolor techniques such as wax resist watercolor, watercolor painting with salt, outlining, drawing, flat wash painting, different brush strokes and more. Students will learn basic color theory from painting and mixing colors. Students will gain confidence in their artistic ability.
Watercolor paper Variety of watercolor brushes including round and flat. Pencil and eraser Watercolor paints in a palette Clean water Paper Towels Table Salt Crayons or Oil Pastels in assorted colors A black Crayon or Oil Pastel A black Sharpie marker
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
