Description
Class Experience
1. Students will learn facts about the physical characteristics of the Green Sea Turtle such as size, diet, habitat and characteristics. 2. Students will learn how scientists use these characteristics to compare and classify a species like Green Sea Turtles. 3. Students will learn why conservation of Green Sea Turtles is so important and what is being done to prevent the extinction of this species. 4. Students will learn new vocabulary words related to the study of the Green Sea Turtle and their ocean habitat.
Your child may be interested in learning more facts about the topic of Green Sea Turtles and animal conservation science. Great science enrichment for independent or homeschooled learners.

Print Pack: (attached to the welcome message in the classroom and visible if you are logged in as the LEARNER) Contains templates to help the learner identify and label the physical characteristics of a sea turtle. Note: A certificate and a Green Sea Turtle Fact and vocabulary sheet will be available for download in the classroom after class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is not a formal assessment for this class. Students will be learning concepts of animal science along with the opportunity to develop additional math, geography, vocabulary and creative thinking while learning about Green Sea Turtles.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
