In this popular wild animal science class, kids will learn facts and vocabulary about the habitat, physical traits, and conservation status of Chameleons native to Africa. Great as a science class for afterschool and homeschool students.

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 5
  • Students will learn facts about the physical characteristics of the chameleon such as size, diet, habitat and characteristics.
  • Students will learn how scientists use these characteristics to compare and classify a species like the chameleon.
  • Students will learn why conservation of chameleons is so important and what is being done to prevent the extinction of this species.
  • Students will learn new vocabulary words related to the study of chameleons found in Africa.
