In this one-time class, student will read, write and draw pandas. Student interaction is encouraged throughout the class as we learn about the panda’s habitats, diet and physical characteristics.

Read, Write, Draw. Let’s learn about pandas! In this class, students will learn about the panda’s habitat, diet and physical characteristics through non-fiction text. We will interact and discuss pandas throughout the lesson. After reading about pandas, we will share what we learned and make a graphic organizer of facts. Using the graphic organizer, students will form sentences about pandas. Students will finish the lesson by drawing a picture to match their panda facts. Schedule: - Greetings - Read about Pandas and discuss - Collect facts about pandas - Write - Draw a picture - Share facts and drawings
