Class Experience
for the light up turkey: 1 CR 2032 coin cell battery 5 x 10mm diffused LEDs 2-4 1/2″ circle stickers 1 1 1/2″ brown pom pom 1 orange pipe cleaner 2 googly eyes Orange and red felt Glue gun or other glue catapult: popsicle sticks rubber bands plastic spoon candy corn ruler or tape measure cranberry structures: toothpicks fresh cranberries Potato clock: 2 potatoes, any variety 2 pieces of copper wire 2 galvanized nails 3 alligator clip assemblies (each should be 2 clips connected by wire) A 1-2 volt digital clock
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may be using hot glue to complete their projects. Students will also be using a coin cell battery to make the light up turkey. Please instruct your learners to leave it in the packaging until class and the finished project is not a toy but a decoration. Students will also be using candy corn which could contain an allergen for some learners.
