From prehistoric creatures to majestic birds, you'll learn how to draw and paint these fascinating creatures using a variety of mediums, including watercolor and oil pastels. Young artists will practice adding details, mixing colors, exploring simple shapes, and repetitive movements. They will be able to finish a painting each week while discovering their artistic flow.
9x12 Watercolor or Mixed Media Paper Watercolor Paint (36 or 48 paint sets recommended) White Watercolor Paint Tube or Titanium White Acrylic Paint Pencil and Eraser Paintbrushes (Large, Medium, and Small) Crayons and/or Oil pastels (Please make sure to have black and white crayons/oil pastels) Markers Fine tip black marker/Black liquid ink pen Cup of Water Paper Towel Masking Tape (For Sunset Classes) Optional: Metallic Pens & Posca Paint Pens
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
