Hello! My name is Rachael (or the Doodlebugs Lady!) I am a wildlife biologist, former zookeeper, actor, life-long learner, and a mom. I have been a wildlife educator for over 15 years, and have been giving virtual presentations with my company Doodlebugs Animal Adventures for schools and libraries. I am excited to now bring these programs to Outschool! In my fun and interactive Wild About Animals LIVE animal presentation your child will meet a variety of animals and explore the unique ways they survive in their homes! Students will be encouraged to engage their bodies as well as their minds as we explore topics like, animal needs, animal homes, adaptations, animal coverings and more! I believe "A curious mind can change the world" so my goal is to engage your learner and nurture their innate curiosity, while also promoting empathy and connection to the natural world! Each program includes at least 5 LIVE animal friends. Join me on this exciting “Animal Adventure”
Learning Goals
This program is geared towards our littlest learners! By combining song, movement, and ANIMALS we create a whole body learning experience! We will explore colors, counting, animal needs, animal homes, how animals make us feel, and how WE can help all the animals on the planet!
