In this class, students will learn about several bodies of water and whether they are salty or fresh. We will talk about animals that live in water and why water is an important tool for maintaining our health. And finally we will talk about different jobs that require the use of water or that study water. Students are encouraged to participate in group conversation and will be asked thought-provoking questions about ways that we can use and protect our water daily! No prior knowledge is needed for this class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how water makes life possible on Earth including why living things need water, bodies of water, and jobs that use/study water.

Hello and welcome! I'm Miss Jessica. I have a dual Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a Reading Endorsement. Aka- Highly qualified to teach reading!
I have been teaching young learners since I was a teenager when I volunteered as a camp counselor. I worked in a public school for 2 years. In that time, I taught reading, grammar, phonics and math for two years. I also taught at a private school for a year where I taught grades 1-5 all in the same schoolroom! In this unique setting, I taught 6 subjects a day (for 5 different grade levels) including: reading, math, science, social studies, grammar, and writing. For the past two years, I've had the pleasure of being an online ESL teacher. I've been able to teach 3000 classes to over 800 children in China!
I'm really passionate about teaching a very broad range of subjects from Reading and Culture to Health and Science. I believe that learning is best accomplished in an interactive, creative and fun atmosphere! In my spare time, I enjoy baking, spending time with my family, going out on the lake, and finding fun DIY projects around the house. I can't wait to see you in class!Reviews
