Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will learn about growth mindset and neuroplasticity. Growth mindset is the belief that you can keep trying and improve skills overtime to become good at just about anything. Neuroplasticity is the science that proves this mindest to be true. Scientists have studied the brain and found that it physically changes to adapt to it's environment and the skills that are being used. Neurons and connections are physically built in the brain with practicing any skill....
Students will develop perseverance though learning about growth mindset and neuroplasticity.
I am a licensed school counselor. This course is part of my counseling curriculum.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
