Description

Class Experience

The goal of this class will be to equip the student with an understanding and passion for exercising as a way to better their personal health. Through interesting facts, fun trivia and open discussing, students will discover what kind of exercise they like and how to incorporate healthy activity in their lives.
I was taught weight training, yoga and the fundamentals of physical fitness throughout my high school years by my father, who had been a powerlifting trainer for many years. Additionally, I have a degree in massage therapy and holistic health studies, and have taught yoga for more than a decade.
The students will be given simple challenges to try between classes and will be encouraged to discuss/demonstrate what they've learned with their families. No written homework will be required, rather they will be encouraged to apply the things they’ve learned.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Class participation.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

About Me
