This tale explains why people today must grow and harvest their own food. In the beginning, eating was simple - everyone reached up and ate a piece of the sky! I have been teaching in public and charter schools for over 13 years. I have a Master of Education with a concentration in Reading. I love folktales and fairytales. My second graders have loved hearing this story and learning about a new culture.
