Class Experience

The student will be learning why social skills are important. They will be talking about how they use social skills in their everyday lives without even thinking about it. I will be covering ways to introduce themselves and make themselves and others feel comfortable. I love to have the students engage in meaningful conversations while relating these social skills to real-life experiences. We will have fun while learning and doing activities. This class will really get them to really think about others and themselves.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Nicole. I am excited to introduce myself as a highly qualified educator with a unique blend of expertise in both education and clinical mental health. With a Master's degree in Education and another in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling, I bring a holistic and comprehensive approach to supporting students' academic and emotional growth. I also hold a teaching certification in pre-k through 3rd grade. I have taught children between ages 3- 15 over the last several years. I enjoy teaching circle time to 3-5-year-olds, phonics classes, kindergarten readiness, social skills, book discussion, conflict resolution. I enjoy helping children reach their fullest potential with the "aha moments" those moments are priceless. I am here to help children with their social skills and academics in a way that is fun and engaging for them. I believe that all students are capable of greatness it is just up to the educator and the student to work together and never give up. This will build their confidence and get them to be comfortable with what they are learning. I enjoy cooking, learning new things, and dancing. I am a life long learner and I love to talk about education with children and the many options that are out there for them. I try to make my students laugh and have fun.
