In this one-time course, we will explore the science of bees through a reading of the book "Why do we need bees?", color a bee picture, and create a bee craft from a toilet paper roll!

Description
Class Experience
1 file available upon enrollment1. A bee printable handout will be provided prior to class for students to color during class 2. A bee parts handout printable will be provided prior to class for students to print out - possibly have cut as well - prior to class for students to use to make their own bees 3. Toilet paper roll 4. Glue 5. Markers, crayons, or colored pencils 6. Yellow construction paper (to wrap around the toilet paper roll)
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may need to use scissors to cut items for the creation of their bee craft and may need parental supervision at times.
