Description
Class Experience
Students will discover why a boat floats on water through discussion and creating their very own boats using tin foil. A slide show will be provided to help guide students in different partner and group discussions. They will be able to identify and explain key terms like buoyancy, density, and water displacement while showing off their unique boats to the class. No background knowledge is required.
I have 9 years of experience teaching middle school science. I offer this class because it has proven to be engaging with great learning outcomes every time.
