Class Experience

Students will learn how to add in this class. They will practice both single and double-digit addition.

Here is some example of practice problems:

I have a Master's of Science in Experimental Psychology from the College of William & Mary and a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University. I have over 10 years of experience working with young learners, from elementary school to undergraduate students. My specialties are wellbeing, statistics, mental health, mindfulness, social skills, early development, elementary math and reading skills, and learning and social disabilities.
Homework will not be assigned; however, I attached worksheets with extra practice problems for students.
 1 file available upon enrollment
A whiteboard and markers or paper and pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students' progress will not formally be assessed but how well they do during class (i.e., correctly answering questions, participating, and asking questions) are strong indicators of great progress.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
