Dads are special people! Dads show love in all sorts ways. They help us, protect us, guide us to see and do wonderful things. "Dad and Me in the Morning" by Patricia Lakin teaches how this Dad and his deaf son see and feel more than just a beautiful sunrise on the beach. With Aunt Sam's patience and love, we will then discuss Dads. How does your Dad help you? How do you help your Dad? How do you feel about Dads? Let's discuss the delightful difference Dads can make in our lives. Teacher facilitates read aloud of Picture Books. Engages students in discussion of story events. Activity: Share their favorite part of the book and share something about their Dads. Then learn a Father's Day Song in ASL Share the Dad Color Page (if time permits).
