Description
Class Experience
Students will learn functions of different parts of the brain and use this knowledge to become more self-aware.
I have been teaching high school psychology for 9 years, and I have secondary education endorsements in general psychology and advanced placement psychology at the secondary level.
There will not be any homework in this course.
Students will be informally assessed as we go through the discussion portions of the course to check for understanding, but they will not be given a grade.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Sometimes in psychology courses we will discuss mental health issues. This is not a course that will include any mental health information or topics, but they may be mentioned by students or in discussion. However, there will not be any in-depth discussion or instruction of them in this course.
