As a recently retired Gifted and Talented Intervention Specialist, I have a passion for helping young children discover the joy of learning! I have spent many years designing learning experiences for kindergarten through fifth grade learners that encourage each child to identify and develop their own unique strengths. Before moving into Gifted education, I taught elementary Math and Science. In addition to my education certifications in Elementary Education, Gifted Education, and English as a Second Language, I also have a degree in Biology from Wake Forest University.
