Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 4
In this ongoing class, we will play "Whodunit?" games that will cover 4th grade math skills.
This class is designed for students
 - in 4th grade.
 - 5th graders that need to fill skill area gaps.
 - 4th graders entering 5th grade for review and readiness.

Prior to each class, students will be provided math notes called "clue packages." The class will start with a review of the "clue package" and a mini-lesson. Students will then be presented with math mysteries. Math mystery cases presented will require students to evaluate math problems presented in the scenario. Using their math skills students will determine which person/people is not being truthful about the scenario presented and solve the case. The class will close with a Kahoot game where students enter their suspects and learn if they have solved the cases correctly.
