Description

Class Experience

In this one time class, students will learn about calculating the area and perimeter of squares and rectangles. This class is designed to introduce and/or refresh how to calculate area and perimeter. The teacher will introduce students to what area and perimeter are by posting notes before class which is called a "clue package" and by discussing it using the given notes during class. The clue package can be used during and after class as a reference.

Students will learn about area and perimeter through  game play.

BA Interdisciplinary Studies K-8

Students will be given "clue packages" before class to do before class to become familiar with the content.
