US Grade 2 - 5
Students will review the basic rules of spelling and practice common prefixes and suffixes. Students will also gain an understanding of Latin roots and be able to compare words and relationships to assist in determining word meanings. The classroom will be similar to a spelling bee competition for the last half of each class to evaluate student learning and progress. Because this class is intended to be an interactive class, if there are less than three students, class will be cancelled or students will be transferred to another section where they can interact with others.
