A variety of methods for starting this process of wealth creation – with the largest emphasis placed on the stock market – are examined. Students will have a basic concept in different types of investing including IRA's 401k's Pensions, ETF's, mutual funds, and Index funds 3. Students will have a basic understanding of compounding interest and the influence of time for investing
I am a certified economics teacher with an undergraduate in education, masters in instruction, and achieved my national boards certification, and have taught this class in the past.
There will be no homework for this class, but students will be offered optional graphic organizers to support real world application to the strategies that they have learned.
Access to technology and the internet.
The lesson will have an informal assessment with the option of a written report for specific feedback.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
