In this fun one-time class students will learn how to successfully draw a self portrait in the Japanese kawaii chibi style with step by step instructions. We will go over tips and tricks to achieve an authentic self portrait in the popular kawaii style, each creating our own individual drawing by the end of class. I will use slides and live drawing to teach. Starting with the shape of the face and body, we will then go over how to map out where all the features will go and how to draw the...
The students will need some plain paper, an eraser, sharpener and coloured pens or pencils, including the colour black.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
