Students will learn various facts about Kamala Harris. Students will learn the meaning behind the American flag. Students will express their thoughts while composing a letter to Kamala Harris.
Students should read the book prior to class time.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need to have read the WhoHQ book titled "Who is Kamala Harris" (ISBN 978-0-593-38448-0) prior to class. Students will need to print off the papers from our classroom, have paper and pencil for writing the letter and a 8 x 12 white piece of construction paper, various shades of blue and red construction/craft paper and, if available, old magazines. Students will use the old magazines to cut pieces of blue and red to make the American Flag.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
