In this two week course, students will learn about the Electoral College. In week one, students will explore the Constitution and the parameters of the Electoral College. Students will engage in historical analysis of the Constitution and the set up of the Electoral College and engage in a class discussion about why the Founders made the Electoral College (their purpose), how it affects the outcome of an election and will decide if it is still necessary today.
