Class Experience

Students will test their knowledge about important places in World War II by participating in a fun, fast paced game of Kahoot. Each student will record their answers using Kahoot. A second device, such an iPad or a cell phone, is recommended so students can see the questions via our Zoom class and record their answers on Kahoot. However, students can also use a second screen to do this. I will read the questions and answers to the class as they see them on their screens. Following our game, I will share other interesting facts about key locations in World War II through a short slide presentation. Students will interact with me and each other during class discussion and will have the opportunity to contribute interesting information they may know about World War II.

Learning Goals

Students will sharpen their critical thinking skills and ability to make inferences as they learn more about World War II.

Supply List
It would be helpful to have second device with internet access available, such as a tablet, laptop, or cell phone to open https://kahoot.it for our trivia game. However, if a second device is not available, students could open a second tab on their computer so that they could have Kahoot open in one tab while keeping Outshcool open through Zoom on the other tab.
