Description
Class Experience
Students will test their knowledge about important places in World War II by participating in a fun, fast paced game of Kahoot. Each student will record their answers using Kahoot. A second device, such an iPad or a cell phone, is recommended so students can see the questions via our Zoom class and record their answers on Kahoot. However, students can also use a second screen to do this. I will read the questions and answers to the class as they see them on their screens. Following our game,...
Students will sharpen their critical thinking skills and ability to make inferences as they learn more about World War II.
I have a degree in secondary social studies education, and 14 years of classroom teaching experience, both in public schools and homeschool enrichment classes.
It would be helpful to have second device with internet access available, such as a tablet, laptop, or cell phone to open https://kahoot.it for our trivia game. However, if a second device is not available, students could open a second tab on their computer so that they could have Kahoot open in one tab while keeping Outshcool open through Zoom on the other tab.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Topics related to World War II will be discussed, such as military and political leaders, battles, and weaponry.
