These one-on-one sections with potential students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) is an quick and accurate way to assess existing skills in reading and/or math and discuss possible course options. Includes diagnostic placement test(s), brief course description(s) of applicable course work and all the Q&A we can get into this up to 30 minute session. This is a single, diagnostic, one-on-one informational session. Parents/guardians will be provided with a written synopsis containing grade level and skill gap assessments via parent conversations within 48 hours of completion. Individualized placement test(s) will be provided (shared) on-screen. Students should have a sharpened pencil with an eraser for math testing, as well as lined paper to work on. There are no calculators permitted.
As an accelerated learning specialist in reading and math, I have a heart for catching students up and helping them get ahead as quickly as possible. Having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Special Education as well as several teaching certificates in two states, I have taught in public and private schools and I continue to serve students of all ages, grades and skill levels; from those with varying degrees of autism to the naturally advanced, Pre-K through College.
