My name is Brent Linn, and I have been speaking Spanish for over 30 years now, having studied in high school, then in a language institute in Costa Rica where I received an Avanzado Alto certificate. I lived in Venezuela in South America for 17 years, married a Venezuelan, and our four kids were all born there. Since returning to the USA in 2006, I have been teaching at a small, bilingual college in Memphis, TN, where I mostly teach courses in Spanish to Hispanic students. I have tutored many students in Spanish 1, 2, and 3, and I have taught over 20 courses to help children, youth, and adults to begin to speak Spanish.
Informal assessments will take place throughout the lesson, with an overall review at the end.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
