Where in the World: A Geography Guessing Game

In this one-time class, the learners will have the opportunity to learn interesting facts about a mystery location. The learners will be given clues and be challenged to identify the mystery location. After they have identified the mystery location, they will be encouraged to add their own interesting facts about the location to the mix. They will be practicing research skills and deductive reasoning in order to identify the mystery location. ***The mystery locations will be varied so repeating this class will not mean that the same location will be used. 
The topics to be covered will include information about the culture of the location, fun things to do while there, and things that locals want others to know about the location. 
I will teach using a discovery-based approach in which students are given clues to the location. The clues can include pictures, videos, and or verbal clues. 


My teaching style is relaxed. I like to focus on using praise and encouragement.
