Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 5
This is not your ordinary water cycle lesson. Students will first explore the different states of matter and how matter changes states. Then, the water cycle will be introduced within that context. Key vocabulary for this lesson includes: melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation, solid, liquid, gas, molecules, precipitation.

Students will learn using a mix of lecture and slides, video clips, fill-in-the-blanks, games, and discussions. The time will fly by because students will be actively doing things instead of just listening to me talk.
