Enjoy the Spring price cut! In this class you will find a step-by-step guide on how to use positive visualization techniques to refocus and calm ourselves down. We will work on teaching your child to journal their feelings. By writing, drawing and following the steps in this book, it helps children learn to refocus before they have outbursts, raise their voices or say things they should not be saying. Using visualization techniques takes practice and that is exactly what we are going to learn. I give many different ideas, situations and techniques because I know what will work for one child, may not work for another. If you prefer a private in person class, feel free to message me. Also available in a live version. Week 1 When saying take a deep breath does not work! By finding what has NOT worked for you, we can focus on what new direction to take. Week 2 Let's talk about what brings positivity to your life. In this class we will begin our 1,2,3,4,5, series of visualization techniques! We don't always have a calm space, toys or activities with us to calm us down. Here is where we learn what we always have access to! Week 3 What is the most amazing thing you could wish for? There is a reason I am asking, it is part of our journey! Week 4 Now that we know all of the steps to the process, we are moving onto to other options to try. It is always best to have more than one way to calm ourselves down. Here are some examples to help you. Even though there are no live classes, there are many ways to interact in this classroom. I am happy to help in any way I can. You can contact me on the classroom page or in private message. I will also be adding in questions and more ideas as we progress. It gives student more of an opportunity to engage and find new ways to help them. To add in some fun, some of the questions will be simply to teach learners that there are several different ways to see any situation. We will also be playing be playing games to get to know each other better, such as if I were to create my own calm space it would include? I would invite? We would play? We would eat? These games give students more opportunities to engage in class! The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through. The book(s) I wrote to accompany this class (and many other class I offer) can be found at the link below to my authors page. Or search on Amazon "When Saying Take a Deep Breath Doesn't Work.
