Description

Class Experience

This will be an engaging class in which the teacher will read a fun book in order excite students about reading.  Students will listen to a surprise story as the teacher uses pragmatics to model how voice ads to reading enjoyment.  After the book, students will have the opportunity to talk about the story and what made him or her love it.  The students will then be given the opportunity to tell a story in their best storytelling voice.  I am a teacher that believes a student must have fun in...

Students will understand the reading strategy of voice and pragmatics with a concentration on oral language skills.

No homework

Informal- storytelling with group at end
