This class is all about anger and learning techniques to manage strong emotions. Students will play a game by choosing numbers on the Wheel of Mystery. Some numbers contain a funny reward and some produce questions, techniques, or scenarious related to anger management. Being exposed to techniques for dealing with anger is a great way to increase emotional intelligence and positive decision-making skills. In playing a game with the teacher and other students, your learner will see that we all feel anger, they are not alone in experiencing this emotion, and that they can control their response to anger in healthy and productive ways. Although this is a serious topic, we have fun, act silly, and play games. The focus during this class is on empowerment and positive attitudes. I hope to see your learner in the classroom!
